Mabel W. (Diehl) Boyers, 88, of 610 John St., Hanover, formerly of Harrisonburg, Va., died on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000, at her home. She was the wife of the late Raymond Boyers.

Born Nov, 9, 1911, in Harrisonburg, Va., she was a daughter of the late J. W. and Maude Diehl.

She was a member of the Hanover Church of the Brethren where she was a member of the choir. She was also a member of the Seniors Bowling League, AARP, and a past member of the Hanover Community Singers.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Virginia Schultz, Marie Childress, Leona Stambaugh; and one brother, Oliver Diehl.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Hanover Church of the Brethren, 601 Wilson, Hanover. The Rev. Roy Johnson will officiate. A viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Woodbine Cemetery, Harrisonburg, Va.

The Wetzel Funeral Funeral Home, Inc, is in charge of arrangements.
