Obituary: John E. Bialota ,61

Funeral services for John E. Bialota, 61, of Groveville, who died Saturday at St. Francis Medical Center, will be held Wednesday at 9 am at Buklad Memorial Home, 2141 S. Broad St. the clergy of St. Raphael's Church will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home. Wake service will be held during that time. Born in Trenton, Mr. Bialota was a lifelong resident. A member of VFW Post No.491 of Yardville, he was a staff sergeant in the Army during World War II. He was employed for 25 years by thr former H.K. Porter Co;, Thermoid Division, and more recently as a traffic engineer with the NJ Department of Transportation. Son of the late Louis Bialota, he is survived by his wife, Patricia Stevens Bialota; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Joseph Natriello of Orlando, Fla., and Patricia and Jack Kratzer of Trenton; his mother Margaret Nacel Bialota of Trenton; a brother, Louis of Hamilton Township; a sister, Loretta Sytnik of Wrightstown; a grandson, Robert, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills, NJ.

John E. Bialota was a Staff Sergeant in the US Army .
Anti Tank Gunner served 12 months in the Pacific Theatre. Performed duty with 37th Anti-tank Platoon as gun crewmember. fired 37mm gun, Inspected and cleaned and maintained the piece. In charge of 400 Japanese Laborers in Japan. Received campaign star for Leyte and Luzon Campaigns. Holds combat Infantry Badge, and the Presidential Unit Citation
