Services for Mary Mayer, 84, of 17816 Community, Lansing, who died Friday afternoon following an extended illness, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Neidow Funeral chapel, 117 Rimbach, Hammond. Rev. Paul Schaeffer will officiate.
A resident of 411 State, Calumet City, for 70 years, she was the widow of August H. Mayer, Calumet City businessman, and at one time delivered milke from a boat to early settlers along Hohman ave. She was a member of the Immanuel Evangelical church for more than 40 years and a honorary member of the Tebea guild.
The body may be view at the Neidow chapel after 2 p.m. Sunday and burial will be at Oak Hill cemetery.
