Julia A. (Sheridan) Heldman
Julia A. (Sheridan) Heldman, 82, died Sunday, March 17, 2002, at St. Francis Hospital & Health Centers in Beech Grove. She was a resident of Indianapolis.
She was born July 18, 1919, in Indianapolis. Her parents were Patrick and Margarett Sheridan. She married Henry A. Heldman. He preceded her in death March 17, 1980. Survivors include three sons, David Heldman of Beech Grove and Michael K. Heldman and Richard P. Heldman, both of Indianapolis; a daughter, Rebecca M. Heldman of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Henry L. and Fritz Heldman; three brothers, John, Tom and Phill Sheridan; and a sister, Peg Albright.
She was employed for 25 years by the U.S. Postal Service as a postal clerk, retiring in 1985.
She was a member of Indian Creek Christian Church.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Indian Creek Christian Church. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center in Indianapolis.
