He worked on the family farm prior to serving in the US Army in Germany from 1956 to 1957.
Ronald retired in 1994 from Cone Blanchard Machine Company in Windsor where he worked as a machinist for thirty-six years. He later worked for several places including the Highway Department in Weathersfield and Grenier's Machine Shop in Claremont.
He was a communicant of St Joseph's Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion all of Claremont.
Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, traveling, dancing, farming, watching the birds and the deer and going to camp on Lake Champlain in Orwell, VT.
He was the widower of Armante Elaine (Grenier) Jarvis whom he married on January 23, 1954 and she died April 29, 2003.
He is survived by his union of love partner, Susan A. Graham and her family, Scott Pollard and his family, Haylee and Bridick Pollard and Maria Darrow, US Air Force in S. Carolina and her family Alexander Darrow; one sister, Beverly Domey of Unity; one brother, Frederick Jarvis of Weathersfield, VT and nieces and nephews.
Interment, with full military honors provided by the American Legion Post #29 of Claremont, will be in Ascutneyville Cemetery in Weathersfield, VT.
