Pearl Elizabeth Smith was born February 23, 1889 at Hamilton, Ontario and soon afterwards moved to Ohio with her parents. She grew up in Ohio and Indiana and in 1907 moved to Colorado where she was married to Floyd P. Jones, October 18, 1908 at Grand Junction. In June, 1917, the family came to Whitefish to make their home where they have lived since with the exception of about two years in Kalispell.
She is survived by her eight children, Robert F., Forrest P., Mirrett S., Thomas L., Eugene L, Tynee S. and Montana, all of Kalispell, and Mrs. David Hamm of Portland, Oregon, one granddaughter, her father Robert M. Smith of Ohio and brothers and sisters in eastern states.
