George William Duffe, 80 of Moscow, died at 5:20 a.m. today at the Wilton nursing home following a lengthy illness. The son of Mrs. and Mrs. William Duffe, he was born Aug. 17, 1886 at Moscow. He was a lifetime resident of Moscow.
He married Lena Hucke on March 31, 1909 at Moscow. His occupation was farming.
Survivors include his wife, Lena of Moscow; two sons, Roy and Ralph, both of Moscow; four daughters, Mrs. Joe (Irene) Barclay of Wilton, Mrs. Fred (Hazel) Schroeder of Tipton, Mrs. Elnora Showalter of Wilton, and Mrs. Elmer (Leona) Hagge of Durant; thirteen grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. at the Gill memorial home in Wilton. Interment will be at the Oakdale cemetery.
