MONTAGUE CENTER - George D. Stebbins, 76, of Central Street died Friday in Farren Memorial Hospital in Montague City. He was born in South Deerfield and was a former machinist for the Union Tool Co. in Orange, retiring in 1957. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Millers Falls and formerly lived in Greenfield and for some time in Millers Falls. He leaves two sons, Joseph D. of Greenfield and George H. of Brattleboro, Vt., and two sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Buckmaster of Montague Center and Mrs. Mary Skrypek of Millers Falls. The funeral will be Monday at 2 at Hodgen Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, South Deerfield.
