James Henry Cook, 52, died Thursday, June 26, 1997, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa after an illness.
He was born Nov. 13, 1944, in Loris, a son of Hosea and Mable Porter Cook.
Mr. Cook was a Navy veteran and was owner and operator of the Cook Heating and Air in Tulsa.
Survivors, in addition to his parents of Loris, include two daughters, Jennifer Cook and Jamie Cook, both of Tulsa; two brothers, Lloyd Cook and Jason Cook, both of Loris; and three sisters, Wilma Kay of Bonn, Germany, Thelma Herring of Whiteville, N.C., and Edna McCormick of Little River.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Hardwick Funeral Home of Loris.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Carter Cemetery.
