Darrell Ray Aasen, 52, former Glendive resident who operated Aasen Lake View Cabins in Fort Peck, died Friday in his home.
Born in Terry, he was a son of Fritz and Marie Aasen. After graduating from Dawson County High School and Dawson College he served in the Navy during WWII, then worked for Milne Implement Co. until 1968 and for Minneapolis Moline Co. until 1972. He married Lois Soare in Glendive in 1968.
Survivors include his wife; his mother of Glendive; two stepson, Malcolm and Duncan Soare, both of Billlings; and four step-grandchildren.
