Mary Courtney (West) Edmonson, age 92, of North Little Rock, passed away Monday, October 11, 2004. Mrs. Edmonson was born to Olin and Edith Hall West on September 13, 1912. She was a member of the Forty-Seventh Street Baptist Church in North Little Rock and a retired beautician.

Preceded in death by four brothers, Elbert, Estol, Oscar and Coy West; and three sisters, Della Ashcraft, Effie Young and Ruby Adams. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Julian D. "J. D." Edmonson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2004 in the Chapel of Griffin Leggett Rest Hills, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, 501.835.3515, with Pastor Jaques officiating.
