Dolly Lanehart, 73, of Silver City passed away Thursday at Gila Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Lanehart was born Sept. 5, 1918, to John W. and Ellen Skipper in Calhoun, Okla. She is survived by her husband, Leon Lanehart of Silver City; a daughter, Beverly Jean Stevens of Grandview, Texas; a son, George M. Johnson of Albuquerque; a sister, Lois Stephens of California; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lanehart was the former owner of Dolly's Cafe in Silver City. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Curtis-Bright Funeral Home of Silver City. The Rev. Don Atchley will officiate. Arrangements are by Curtis-Bright Funeral Home of Silver City.
