Kimberley Chantee’ “Kim” Smith 37,of Atlanta, Ga died Thursday July 8,2004 in an Atlanta hospital.
Miss Smith was born December 1,1966 in Texarkana, Texas. She was a certified public accountant, a member of Cascade United Methodist Church, where she served on the usher board, Delta Sigma Theta Soroity Inc. and Waters Edge Tennis Team. She was preceaded in death by her father, John Winston “Wick” Smith. Survivors include her mother, LaVerne Clark of Texarkana; one brother, Michael Clark II of Texarkana; two sisters,Eureka Cornelius of Houston, Texas; and Ashlei Cornelius of Texarkana; her grandparents, Lucy Dean Smith of Dallas; and Willie Bell Cornelius of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Williams Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Reginald Reid officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens, under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Texarkana Daily Gazette, July 16,2004.
