Carol Blair, 61, of Brownfield passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 in Lubbock. She was born August 14, 1950 in Canyon, Texas to Joe and Barbara Cullender. She graduated from Canadian High School, was an undergraduate of West Texas State University and then received her Master's in Math from Texas Tech University. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Carol married Jerry Blair in Canadian on July 29, 1972. She taught school in Meadow and Brownfield for 27 years. She was a lifetime member of the Texas State Teachers Association and the Women's Club. She was a member of Meadow First Baptist Church. Carol is preceded in death by her father; her mother-in-law, Lois Blair; a sister-in-law, Sylvia Cullender. Carol is survived by her husband, Jerry of Brownfield; two daughters, Lesli Kerth and husband Chris of College Station and Julie Little of Lubbock; three grandchildren, Nathan Kerth, Kaden Bradford and Dawson Little; her mother, Barbara McLemore of Canadian; two brothers, Mike Cullender of Dripping Springs and Jeff Cullender and wife JJ of Canadian; a sister, Cristy Daniell and husband Jeff of Florence; father-in-law, Willie Blair of Meadow.
