FORMER CITIZEN DIES IN FAR AWAY WEST
Mrs. J. H. Green formerly, Miss Mary Slater died at her home in Belgrade, Mont. Friday Sept. 11 after an Illness
of 26 days. Mrs. Green was married here in 1885 and immediately left for the west. She has a host of relatives here but has visited only once since she left. At the time of her first sickness she had her trunk packed to make a surprise visit here. The Slater family was among the pioneer families of this section as where also the Greens.
