Pallbearers were Lester Peters, Howard Fredrichs, Jeff Fredrichs, Ernest Frank, Robert Schoneboom and Wesley Mohr. Interment was made in the Carnarvon Cemetery under the direction of Farber & Otteman Funeral Home.
Wilmer C. Peters was born in Sac County, Ia., on July 15, 1930, the son of Ben and Marie Ackerman Peters. He was graduated from the eighth grade.
He enjoyed collecting Lionel electric trains and trapping.
Survivors include 2 sisters, Helen Clausen of Wall Lake and Ione Peters of Carnarvon, and a brother-in-law, Clarence Lindner of Reinbeck.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Eleanor and Mary; and a brother-in-law, Julius Clausen.
