Eva Palagi Dies at 78
Mrs. Robert J. (Eva) Palagi, 78, 509 9th St. N., a resident of the Great Falls area for more than 60 years, died Wednesday afternoon at her home following a lengthy illness.
Born Feb. 2, 1892, in Quebec, she attended convent schools there, and then came to Montana in July 1909. She married Palagi the following February in Great Falls. The couple lived in Black Eagle until 1947, when they moved to their present address in Great Falls. She was a member of St. Ann's Parish and Daughters of Isabella.
Surviving besides the widower are five daughters, Mrs. Florence Keenan, Mrs. Doris Restelli, and Mrs. Marie Godlewski, all of Great Falls, Mrs. Violet Mires of Helena, and Mrs. Irene MacPherson of San Jose, Calif.; a son, Robert of Omaha, Neb.; a brother, Joseph Boucher of Butte; two half-sisters and three half-brothers, Mrs. Mary Rusicka, Mrs. Jeanette LaProwse, and Robert, Tony and Albert St. Pierre, all of Butte; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
