James Campbell

James Monroe Campbell, 85, of Zwolle, died in Jasper Memorial Hospital in Jasper, Tex., on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 2:30 p.m., following an extended illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Ettie Campbell of Zwolle; five sons, A. B. Campbell of Long Beach, Calif., J. M. Campbell, Jr. of Shreveport, C. C. Campbell of Sulphur, Carlin Campbell of San Diego, Calif., and W. A. Campbell of Zwolle; four daughters, Mrs. Faye Merritt of Sulphur, Cathrine Wedgeworth of Sourlake, Tex., Jean Hagar of LaMarque, Tex., and Mary Kemayer of Jasper, Tex.; two brothers, W. P. Campbell, and H. D. Campbell, both of Shreveport; four sisters, Gertie McFillan of Lake Charles, Rena [Alice Irene] Oberle of Shreveport, and Gainie Nabours, and Jencie Nabours, both of Zwolle; 16 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Zwolle First Baptist Church on Thursday, Feb. 2, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Lee Dickson officiated. Burial was in the Fisher Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
