Carolyn June Myers, 59, of Newton, passed away at Hubbard Hospice House West, South Charleston, after a three-year battle with cancer.

She was born in Buckhannon, and was a graduate of Buckhannon High School.

Carolyn loved her flowers, and was always planting something different in her flower bed.

Carolyn was a very religious person who believed in God, and stressed that in her family.

She is survived by her parents, Myron and Ruth Queen of Buckhannon; daughter, Carrie (Philip) Dandy; son, Randy (Carol) Lynn Myers; grandson, Brandon Myers; step-grandson, Charles Michael Dandy; and brothers and sisters, Gary Queen of Buckhannon, Rodney Queen of Beckley, Wesley Queen of Brevard, N.C., Wayne Queen of Buckhannon, Cherie Queen of Clarksburg and Chris Queen of Weston.

A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Wallback, with Pastor Wayne Smith officiating.

Carolyn will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Carolyn's body was donated to West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Lewisburg, to help further medical research.

The family requests that donations be made to Hubbard Hospice House West, 4605 MacCorkle Ave. SW, South Charleston, WV 25309.
