Wilson M. Skelton, 88, died Saturday evening, march 30, 2002, at Samaritan Regional Health System. he was born january 9, 1914 in Waynesburg, Ohio and was the son of Wilson C. and Bertha L. Rock Skelton. Mr. Skelton had been a resident of Ashland for the past 20 years moving here from Mansfield, OH.

He was formerly affiliated with the Isaly Dairy Co. from 1936 until 1954, locating in the Mansfield area in 1945 as a General Manager in the Mansfield Division. He was the President of Skelton's Inc. since its founding in 1954. He had remained active in its operation as a wholesaler of commercial foodservice equipment and supplies. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Ashland, OH.. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, fishing, baseball and the outdoors.

He was married to Vera E. Hahn who preceded him in death in June of 1978. He was also preceded in death by one son, Wilson V. Skelton in December of 1989; three sisters, Twila Skelton, Helen Skelton & Lillian Reigel and one brother, Charles Skelton. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; one granddaughter and grand-son-in-law.

Services will be held Wednesday at the First Presbyterian church in Ashland with the Rev. Richard Boyer officiating.
