AUBURN — Peter Worobiec (Warobick) of 178 Van Anden St., father of Patrolman John Warobick, died Friday at Mercy Hospital after a short illness. Born in Austria, he had lived in Auburn 65 years and was retired from Marshall, Meadows and Stewart Shoe • Co., formerly of Auburn. He was a communicant of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. William Tarby and Mrs. Helen Wilczek of Auburn, Mrs. Sophie Gernak of Torrence, Calif., and Mrs. Willia Androski of Cortland; three other sons, Louis of Brookfield, Wise, Joseph and Michael, both of Syracuse; a sister, Mrs. Elias Holyboroda of Auburn; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Kowakzyk Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in St. Peter and Paul Church, where a Mass of requiem will be offered Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fleming Calling hours will be 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the funeral borne, 200 State St. Evening prayers will be at 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home
