EMPORIANS' SISTER DEAD
Mrs. I. H. (Luella) Barnes, Cherryvale, a sister of Miss Laura Finnell, 616 Lincoln St., and Mrs. Joseph (Verna) Rumford, 102 Market St., died unexpectedly Friday night. Mrs. Barnes, a former resident of Emporia, is survived by her husband, of the home, her two sisters in Emporia, and a third sister, Mrs. Howard (Leona) Rees, of Dayton, Ohio. Miss Finnell has left for Cherryvale and will attend the funeral services, to be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Carinder Funeral Home, Cherryvale. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Emporia.
