Richard McGuire Killed

In Italy, April 28th

Next of kin of Richard McGuire were notified by the War Department Wednesday that he had been killed in action in Italy.,

Richard McGuire, husband of Lorraine King McGuire and son of Mr. and Mrs. James McGuire of Mikado, was born in Wellington Township, Alpena County, July 11, 1920 and came to Mikado with his parents when a baby. He volunteered for service on June 6, 1944.

He is survived by his widow and one son, Richard Jr., 4 years old; his parents, and sisters.
