Evangeline was survived by siblings: Frank Lucero (wife Juanita) and Willie Lucero (wife Priscilla), both of Durango, Colorado, Rose Cordova (husband Ernesto) of Alcalde, Rita Thom (husband Barton) of Abiquiu, and Cathy Tafoya (husband Robert) of Alcalde; godson and nephew, Benito Cordova of Española; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Evangeline was a member of El Buen Pastor Church and a former Sunday School teacher. She worked in personal care for the elderly.
