Hugh and his wife, Barbara (Flue) owned an auto parts store in Cheyenne at the time of his death. Hugh had been mayor of Cheyenne. He was a veteran, having served in the Army. Hugh and Barbara had two sons, one of which preceded him in death just 5 months earlier.
