Margaret K. Bressler, 88, of Valley View, died Tuesday, July 29, at her daughter's home in York.
Born in Valley View, December 20, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Charles R. and Mary R. Schwalm Updegrave. She was a 1932 graduate of the former Hegins Township High School.
She was a retired seamstress from the former Philmark Mfg., Valley View. She was a member of Frieden's United Church of Christ, Hegins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde E. Bressler, who died in 2000; and a brother, Russell Updegrave.
Surviving are a daughter, Lorraine Miller of York, with whom she resided; a son, Clyde A. Bressler of Delta, Ontario; a sister, Mildred Kuntzleman of Tower City; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, August 2, from the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with the Rev. Claude Schach officiating. Interment was in Fountain Community Cemetery, Fountain.
