Donna J. (Bradley) Barto, 74, of Peru, passed away Friday morning, June 8, 2012 at Asta Care Center in Toluca.

Burial in Peru City Cemetery.

Mrs. Barto was born July 30, 1937 in Peru to Everett and Seena (Zant) Bradley. She married Nils Barto on June 26, 1959 in Naches, WA.

Mrs. Barto was a graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School. She worked in the office for the family business, Ryder Truck Rental in LaSalle. She enjoyed assisting with Peru Cub Scout Pack 3709 for several years. She liked working around the house and helping others with odd jobs. She enjoyed flower gardening and swimming, especially in the indoor pool at her home. Camping and travelling through Illinois and across the country with her husband was a great joy.

Survivors include her husband, Nils Barto Sr. of Peru; two sisters, Linda (Jim) Sorrentino of Peru and Pat (Bob) Toner of Standard and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Nils "Buck" Barto Jr. and her brother, Dennis "Buck" Bradley.
