Mrs. Janet E. (Gunderson) Schommer, 62, of Calumetville, died Tuesday, February 19, 1991, at her home.
Funeral services will be at Faith Alliance Church, Chilton. Rev. James Jensen will officiate with burial at Garnet Cemetery.
She was born February 13, 1929, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Clifford and Frieda Sampe Gunderson. She married Elwyn Schommer on December 26, 1952, at Manitowoc. She taught school at Highridge School in Vandyne and Calumetville School. Mrs. Schommer had worked as a Food Service Supervisor for Chilton Village Nursing Home and also served as Postal clerk in Calumetville.
She was a member of Faith Alliance Church in Chilton and was a Board Chairman of the Child Evangelism Fellowship of the greater Fox Valley area.
Survivors include her husband, Elwyn, a daughter and son-in-law, Janelle and Ken Ludzcak of Bloomington, Minn.; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jerald and Debra of Omaha, Neb., John nad Lisa of Madison, Jay of Calumetville; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Gladys) Tienor of Manitowoc and Mrs. Bernice Downs of Birmingham, Ala.
