Roxana Lake Randolph was the daughter of Charles Harrison Randolph and Anna Cowell. She was likely named after her aunt, Roxana (Cowell) Lake, sister of Anna and wife of Harvey Lake.

Roxana (Roxie) Lake Randolph was born in Granville, WI, near Milwaukee, on Aug 27, 1848. At age four, she moved with her parents to the Randolph family farm in Troy, and remained there until her marriage at age 22. She married John Mansur Brewster, age 22, on Dec 28, 1870. She and her family resided on the Brewster farm on Quarterline Road until March 1, 1900, when they moved to East Troy, WI.

Charles' age would have been 51, and his birthplace is listed as N.J.. Anna's age would have been 43.
