GILL, Dan Richard, died on July 16, 2011 in Kennett Square, Pa. Dan was born in South Hill, Va., on February 24, 1925. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII in the Pacific theater as pilot of a B-29 bomber. He spent most of his business career at Lukens Steel Company, retiring in 1989. Dan is survived by his wife, Winnifred Houser Gill; his two brothers, Robert Garland Gill and Kennith Gill, both of Richmond; his two children and five grandchildren. His ashes will be interred in Hollywood Cemetery on Saturday, June 9, 2012. Published in Richmond Times-Dispatch on June 8, 2012.
