Nothing is currently known about this James E. Brown at the time of this entry.

A search within W.V.a Vital Research Records contains no matching entries within Birth, Marriage or even Death records.

One of the only clues regarding James E. Brown is that the top of his grave marker reads "FATHER" and that he was about 20 years old because the marker only indicates vague dates as 1923-1943 instead of specific dates.

The only other clue regarding his identity and his relevance to the family cemetery is that his grave lies between just a small few graves that had the last name STILTNER. The only relevance the STILTNERs had to the family cemetery that could be found most probable was that they lived in the hollow along the cemetery, Caney Branch, and were close neighbors and close friends of Scaggs and/or Adams families given their residence among the close proximity to the cemetery and the Scaggs residences/properties.

If anyone possesses information regarding James E. Brown, "FATHER" (1923-1943) or the Stiltners, (John Stiltner,1878-1939 *who is buried immediately next to James Brown to the right side* or Cora Lee Stiltner or Mary Damron Stiltner) please email [email protected] so that biographical information as well as their relevance or relationship to the family cemetery may be finally established regarding these long-departed individuals and bring closure to this mystery.
