James Winsor Graham was born about 1844 in Division, Monroe County, Georgia. He died October 19, 1915 in Georgia. He married Elizabeth Gill on December 2, 1862 and she died in 1873 and then he married Mary Emma Lawrence on August 21, 1873 in Pike County, Georgia. Emma died in 1935. It looks like James was in the Civil War and wounded.

This document shows the birth of my great grandmother, Sallie S. Graham. I believe that SSG middle name is Sophronia and that she died in 1899. Do you know any of this to be true? Do you have any other records or knowledge of this Graham family? What was Sallie's father's name? Was he John Allen "Jack" Graham b. 1834 and did he have a son by the same name b. in 1875? Was Sallie's real name "Sallie" or was that a nickname for Sarah?

I have so many questions to ask because she died when my grandfather, Henry Lee Massey, Sr was only 2 so very little of the family history is known for that part of our lineage.

My family tree is list on ancestry.com as MacDonald/Foley if you want to see it. I am the home person on it. I have many photos posted there.

furlough February 1865. No later record. (Born in Georgia
March 29, 1842.)

I Think That This James is the Brother of William Robert Graham & that James was in the Civil War (Rod W. Graham).

James Albert Graham Dies in 1904 and his wife Margia Bell Austin died in 1907. The children are with out parents.

In the 1910 Federal Census I find four of their children living with James father and mother, James Winsor Graham and Mary E. The four children are:
