RITES THURSDAY FOR OSCAR BLUM OF HERMAN
Oscar William Blum of Herman, 65, passed away Monday at an Omaha hospital. He had suffered severe burns in a farm accident about seven weeks ago.
The funeral services will be conducted at p.m. Thursday at Salem E.U.B. Church of Telbasta, by the Rev. G. F. Jansson, pastor. He was a member the church. Interment will be in the Hooper Cemetery, with Wollmer & Warne Funeral Home in charge.
The son of Matthew and Minnie Blum, he was born May 26, 1898, and had lived in the Herman area his entire life. On Dec. 30, 1931, he married Elsie Hiebenthal of the Herman area. She survives, and a brother, Ed of Herman. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
