Graveside services for Frank R Hodges, 75, of Center Point, who died Saturday at Barksdale Air Base in Shreveport, Louisiana, were to be held today at 2 pm in Center Point Cemetery, with Pastor Eugene Peterson officiating.
Born August 10, 1917, in Drew, Mississippi, Mr. Hodges was a veteran of World War II and a retired Lt Col in the Air Force. He was a methodist. He married Doris Gilbert on March 12, 1949, in Rosenburg. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Jo Ann Evans of Hondo; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth King of Oxford, Mississippi, Mrs. Marie Stonestreet of Clarksdale, Mississippi; his mother, Mrs Bess Hodges of Oxford, Mississippi, and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
