Mary E. McAlvain, 60, of Olive Branch, died June 2, 2012, at Ashland Health and Rehab. She was the widow of Dan McAlvain, a Methodist and a school teacher with Olive Branch Middle School.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 8, at 2 p.m. at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Randy Smith will officiate.
She leaves a son, Ralph R. Ritts of Waterford; three brothers, Louis Greene of Holly Springs, Edward Greene of Memphis, Tenn., Billy Greene of Burlington, Tenn.; and a sister, Ginger Farrow of Holly Springs.
