The lifelong Pittsburg resident served in the Army from 1968-70. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Pittsburg and Lions Club of Bay Point.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, La Verne Mays-Glasper of Antioch; daughters, Erin Glasper and Debra La Shawn Lea, both of Pittsburg, and Sherell Rene Mays of Antioch; sons, Charles Glasper Jr. and Marco Marcellis Glasper, both of Antioch; sister, Janice Glasper of Antioch; brothers, Raymond, Paul Sr. and Anthony Glasper, all of Pittsburg, Nathaniel Glasper of Berkeley and Levi Glasper Jr. of San Francisco; and six grandchildren.
