Homer M. Drain, 92, of Fayetteville died May 9, 1986 at a Fayetteville nursing home. He was born April 16, 1894, at Wesley, the son of John and Matilda Gardner Drain. He was a retired carpenter and millwright. He was a Baptist and lived most of his life in this area.
Survivors include his widow, Florence Spears Drain of the home; one son, Luther Drain of Wichita, Kan.; one foster son, Audie Lee Dennis of Wichita; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were Wednesday, May 14 at Central United Methodist Church of Fayetteville with the Rev. John Smedley officiating. Burial was at Combs Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville.
