Mrs. Laura Evans Boswell Wallace died peacefully on Saturday, June 2, 2012, with family at her side.

She was born in Grantville, Georgia, Oct. 8, 1924, to John Vincent Evans and Sarah Rachel Haynie. She was a graduate of Moreland High School and a longtime member of Moreland Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by first husband, Robert L. Boswell (28 years), and husband, Raymond (Jack) Wallace (33 years), and son, Robert (Mike) Boswell.

She is survived by her daughter and husband, Brenda and Charles Daniel; sons and wives, Ronnie and Shelby Boswell and Danny and JoAnn Boswell; daughter-in-law, Linda Boswell; and brother and wife, Ebb and Kitty Evans. Also, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Moreland Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 5 at 4 p.m., with viewing from 2 to 4 p.m. Burial was in Southview Cemetery, Moreland, Georgia, with the Rev. Jerry Eley and Rev. Daniel Ausbun officiating.McKoon Funeral Home & Crematory, 770-253-4580
