Funeral services for Henry M. Egan, 70, of Portage, who died at Divine Savior Hospital there Tuesday after a brief illness, were held Friday at Pflanz funeral Home and St. Mary’s Catholic Church, both in Portage.
Rev. Austin Henry officiated. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Portage.
Pallbearers were John Newkirk, Edward Raisner, Clarence Fayhe, Francis O’Keefe, John Kaestner and D. W. O’Leary.
Mr Egan is survived by his widow, the former Catherine Murphy; three sons, Dr. Patrick Egan of Waupun and James H and Michael J. Egan of Fond du Lac; two daughters, Mrs. Gordon Lucas of Portage and Mrs. Russell Roeder of Madison; two brothers, Elmer of Portage and Roy of Fort Winnebago, and 23 grandchildren.
