Mass of Resurection services were held on Saturday in St. Philips Catholic Church. Father William Merkens officiated with internment in Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of Olson Swartz Funeral Home.
Clarence Kluzak was born on November 18, 1913 in Tabor Minnesota to Arthur and Anna (Sirek) Kluzak. Clarence grew to manhood and received his education in the Tabor community. He farmed there until he moved to Bemidji. Clarence was united in marriage to Lydia Molacek on November 15, 1939 in Bemidji, Minnesota and to this union three sons and five daughters were born. He farmed 120 acers in Northern Township and worked for Chief Bottling Company of Bemidji, Nichols/ Shanahan Distribution and later as the boiler man for St. Philips Church and School. Clarence worked in the food service department at Bemidji State University until he retired in 1974 due to health reasons.
Clarence is survived by his wife, Lydia; three sons, Stanley and Patricia Kluzak of Anoka, MN; David and Kathy Kluzak of Berlin, Mass; and George and Nadine Kluzak of Mankato, MN. Four daughter Mrs. Lorraine (Rodney) Lubiani of Duluth, MN; Mrs. Dorothy (Guy) Lynn of Fargo, ND; Mrs. Mary (Randy) Affield of Georgetown, Maine; Mrs. Betty (James) Rynders of Bemidji, Mn.; three brothers, Albert of Fargo, ND; Alvin of Pennock, MN; Steve of Bemidji, MN; and one half brother LeRoy Schwartz of Crookston, MN; Step-Mother Albina (Schwartz) Kluzak of East Grand Forks, MN; and twenty Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Three brothers and one daughter.
