Shirley Faye Mann (1935 - 2012)
Funeral services for Shirley Mann, age 76, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2012 at the North Chapel of George A. Smith & Sons, with Pastor Randy Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Mann passed away, Monday, June 4, 2012 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born December 31, 1935 in Doreena, MO to Orville and Florence Tidwell. She was the co-owner of Mann's Wrecker Service & Jackson Auto Exchange for 39 years. She was a member of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Iota Sorority Chapter 1098, the Women Professionals Club, and a long-time member of Cool Springs Presbyterian Church.
Other than her parents, she was predeceased in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Linnard Mann and by their precious daughter, Sherry Mann Lawrence.
She is survived by her son, Gary Mann; grandsons, Garrett Mann, Grant Mann and Trey Lawrence; granddaughters, Shea (Darren) Thweatt and Joy Thompson; and her great-grandchildren, Hallee Brook Mann, Chelsey Richardson, Corey Lawrence, Emily Lawrence, Chloe Thompson and Ty Thompson.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. Mann's nephews.
The family will receive friend on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
