Carson L. Fisher

KENTON - Carson Lewis Fisher, 52, of Columbus, died 7:30 p.m. Friday in Brown Veterans Hospital in Dayton. He had been ill for a year.

Mr. Fisher was born near Ridgeway Jan. 28, 1911, to Lewis and Myrtle Collins Fisher. He resided in Columbus 20 years. He was a barber, a veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was employed at the Varsity Barbershop.

In 1943, he married Thelma Hang, who survives with a son, James, and a daughter, Janie, both of Columbus; his mother, Mrs. Fisher of Kenton; a brother, Alonzo of Ridgeway; two sisters, Mrs. Herbert (Ella) Buchenroth of Bellefontaine and Mrs. Charles (Clara) Smith of Kenton, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in the Myrl D. Hull Funeral Home with Rev. Frank C. Ransdell officiating. Burial will be in Hale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today.
