Tharon graduated from Ogallala High School in 1942. She married Clarence Zakrzewski on March 5, 1946 in Ogallala.
Tharon enjoyed reading, needle point on plastic canvas, crafts, crossword puzzles, bingo and was considered by many as 'the unbeatable wild woman of Yahtzee'. She was a spitfire and had an outgoing personality that was contagious. She loved making people laugh, had a great sense of humor and above all else loved spending time with her loving family and friends.
Tharon is survived by: daughters, Penny (David) Stevens of Scottsbluff, NE., Tara (Bob) Roos of Cheyenne, WY.; grandson Rob (Aimee) Roos of Aurora, CO. and a host of relatives and friends.
Her parents, husband Clarence, son Kent, infant son, Lynn, brother, Corky Wollen and grandson, Scott Roos preceded her in death.
Interment was in the Ft. McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, NE.
