Curtis was born to Benjamine and Irene Hedrick in Yazoo City. Ms on Jan. 28, 1937. He was the first of six children, James David, who died at birth, Zelda, Pat, Michael, and Sherry Kay.
Curtis atteneded Redwood City schools but lived in Vicksburg. He joined the Air Force in 1955 and served for 20 years. He married Bobbie Miller in 1958 and they had two sons,Tony and Corey.
Curtis retired from the service in 1975 and he and his family moved to Vicksburg. Curtis died in April of 1979 and was followed in death by Corey 3 months later. I know they are both with their Father in heaven.
