Isaiah Adams, farmer, sec. 26; owns 80 acres of land, worth $75 per acre; is a native of New York and was born Jan. 5, 1806; came to this State in 1842, and settled where he now resides. Feb. 14, 1833, he married Anna Lester, who was born in 1809, in Connecticut; they are the parents of 7 children, 5 living , namely, Ann A., John P., Martha L., Buell R. and Orilla S.; Nancy and Isaiah, dec. Mr. A. has been Road Commissioner. Is a member of the Congregational Church and a Republican.
