O. D. STEVENS DEAD.
After a ten weeks illness, Owen D. Stevens died Sunday night. He was buried at New Hope on Monday afternoon, services being conducted by Revs. T.J. Porter and Geo. Stoves. The deceased leaves a wife and one child. Mrs. Stevens herself is now quite sick.

Denver - Quite a crowd met at New Hope Cemetery Monday evening of last week to pay the last respect to Mr. O. D. Stevens, who died at his home in Roanoke Sunday night, Oct. 25th, 1908. Funeral services were conducted by Brothers Stove and Porter, of Roanoke. The bereaved have our deepest sympathy.
