Lori Machelle Sparks , age 28, died Saturday, Dec. 10, at a local hospital.
She was born Feb. 4, 1977, in Shawnee to Ron Sparks and Deborah (Woods). She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1995.
Lori enjoyed being with her family and will be remembered as always having a big smile on her face.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Shirley Woods and Minnie and Paul Sparks .
Survivors include her mother, Deborah Middleton of Norman; father and step-mother, Ron Sparks and wife, Emga, of Shawnee; brothers and sisters, Valeria Smith and husband, Mark, of Tuttle, Waylon Sparks of Shawnee, Brandy Painter of Louisville, Ky., Cameron Middleton of Norman, Cole Middleton of Norman and Dennis Sparks of Shawnee; grandfather, Frank Woods of Shawnee; great-grandfather, Ray Jackson of Seminole; two nephews, Coalton Smith and Carson Smith; aunts and uncles, Anthony Sparks and wife, Deanna, Gary Sparks and wife, Anita, Jean Tharp and Gary Burgett, Linda Mitchell, Vicki Ontiveros, Jackie Paxson and husband, Roger, Paula Sparks , Terri Lance, Karen Warner and husband, Gene, and Frankie Hammons and husband, Mike; one great-uncle, Anthony Wood and wife, Sue; and numerous cousins.
Service will be 10 a.m. today at Resthaven Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mike Craig officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
