Rebecca B. Scroggins, formerly of Chattanooga, TN died on Sunday, May 27, 2012 in Los Angeles, California.
She attended Howard High School and was a former member of Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church. She retired from TVA after many years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Adella Bridges; husband, Johnnie Scroggins; brother, Fred Bridges; grandson, Rodney Thomas, Jr.; and daughter, Alberta Thomas.
Survivors include her daughter, Annette Batts of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Rodney (Donna) Thomas, Sr. of Murfreesboro, TN, Fredericka Johnson and Algernon Boga both of Los Angeles, CA; six great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 11 a.m. in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
