Winona Republican-Herald, Monday, November 12, 1951:

Funeral services for Mr. Berry were conducted at the Cromwell Methodist church Friday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Paul Langer, MacGregor, officiating. Pallbearers were Clarence Smith, Donald Smith, Ervin Smith, Kenneth Kingsley, Frederick Pelofski, and Peter Svoboda.

Mr. Berry was born at Money Creek April 25, 1871. He married Susan Northrop in September 1901. She died in 1908. He lived at various places in Montana and Minnesota before settling in Houston where he was mail carrier for 15 years. He married Mrs. Dora Kingsley at Money Creek May 30, 1926. He retired as mail carrier in 1939, and they moved to Comwell.

He became seriously ill in July and was taken to the Moose Lake hospital where he died last Tuesday.

Survivors are his wife; one son George, Butte, Mont.; two daughters, Mrs. Anita Covering, Bemidji, and Mrs. Ethel Kingsley, Cromwell; four stepsons, Orrin and Kenneth Kingsley, Cromwell; Abe Kingsley, Rochester, and Thomas Kingsley, Dover; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Clarence Smith, Cromwell; 41 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Lydia Wood, Money Creek.
