'SENATOR VARE'S FUNERAL TOMORROW AT AMBLER
Philadelphia, Oct. 17 - The funeral of Senator Vare will be conducted at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at his home in Ambler, where he died.
The reason for having the service in Ambler is that Mrs. Vare is prostrated and the Senator's youngest daughter, Abigail, who is convalescing from pneumonia, cannot leave the family home there.
Otherwise, the dead political leader would have been buried from south Philadelphia, where his boyhood friends live.
Bishop Joseph F. Berry, of the Methodist Episcopal Church, will officiate and burial will be made in West Laurel Hill cemetery.
Special invitations to attend the service is extended, said Mr. Holmes on behalf of the family. to members of the State Senate, House of Representative, Republican city committee and the Republican executive committee of the Thirty-ninth Ward.
The public may also attend the service, Mr. Holmes said.
A committee representing the Legislature was named today ago attend Mr. Vare's funeral. The committee will consist of the entire delegations from Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties.
A special train will carry the committee from Philadelphia to Ambler."
